After learning about famous artist, Henri Matisse, the first graders created these cut paper snails. We drew a spiral line with our pencil first and then cut and glued paper down in a pattern to look like a snail. We learned that drawing with our scissors could be great fun! Here are our versions of "The Snail": Here is a photo of a person looking at the original artwork "The Snail" created by Henri Matisse.
