The fifth graders created these interesting ceramic houses with the intention of showing lots of textures, shapes, and forms. They started out with a hollow cube shape and added their own roof, doors, and windows. The fifth graders added texture to their clay houses by pressing texture mats onto the clay to show interesting designs. After the clay houses were bisque fired, the fifth graders painted them with bright colors and a glossy clear coat.
